| Description | Hi Willin SKB is planning to add a new service to Smart3 CUG FW. The problem is that the free size is insufficient because there is an New service apps that are added. Here, SKB is thinking of removing netflix app from Smart3 CUG FW. > Smart3 CUG FW users do not use netflix. and if it is removed netflix, we can get a free size of approximately 94M.) SKB is requesting confirmation of the following. > Can we remove the netflix app on Smart3 CUG FW? or does the Netflix document describe whether we can remove the Netflix app or not? Hi LiuLing We are reviewing the action after removing the prebuilt Netflix app as a request from SKB. After removing the prebuilt Netflix app, we cannot install the Netflix app in the Playstore at BFX-AT100(Smart3) The following two types of errors appear. - Device is not compatible with this version and cannot be installed - Unable to download Netflix However, in the case of INTEK Smart3(BID-AT200), it is said to operate normally after receiving Netflix app from Playstore. Do you know what the difference is? or is there something constraint that won't work if Netflix app isn't prebuilt? Hi YK, The "prebuilt Netflix" directory contains configurations certified by Netflix. It is recommended not to revert to the original SDK configuration. Instead, it is advised to rename the file "vendor/amlogic/common/apps/Netflix/Android.mk" to "vendor/amlogic/common/apps/Netflix/Android.mk.disable" for remove the default app and save space.
